Artist Statement

My drawings and prints explore the human presence in public places, the contrast between public space and private space. They are about what is unseen as well as what is seen. I have made sequences of drawings in Anglia Square, the shopping malls, the railway station and the Forum. Recently, I have been experimenting with the scanning process as a way of enlarging and re-presenting drawings.

I was invited to join the 20 Group as a licentiate in the summer of 2008, after my degree show at NUCA. I am currently studying for an MA in Fine Art.
