I work intuitively finding parallels of rhythm and interval between the physicality of landscape and the mark making intrinsic to the act of drawing.
The drawings, in charcoal, pastel and mixed media are a marriage of fact and fiction evoking both the transience of memory and the haptic physicality of surface.
